Daniel S. blends melodic, hook-driven elements with powerful, driving grooves, creating a sound that moves between tension, euphoria and raw energy. His music combines groove-focused techno with a dystopian edge, while always leaving space for something emotional underneath.
The utopia is gone.
Neocrazy is the sound for the dystopia.
Daniel turns isolation into freedom. What started with 44 weeks of free downloads in 2024 led to releases on Molekül, BCCO, boisha., Atöm and more.
Techno for a disconnected, surveilled and violent world, with a spark of hope still left.
His tracks are supported by Hitmilow, Fumi, Überkikz, Richie Hawtin, Alarico, Chlär, Future.666 and many others.
You have probably heard his ideas. You just haven’t found him yet.
The Neocrazy turns intuition into something real.

Story
Born 1995 in Southern Germany and raised with a guitar, Daniel S. was the outlier in the family — the only one pursuing music. He played in several punk and rock cover bands until he was 17.
At 18 he switched to EDM: a set at Electric Love Festival led to a residency at his hometown club m-eins.
Moving to techno, he founded the MODEST collective and took its sound from his hometown to Augsburg within two years — until Covid stopped everything in 2019.
After Covid, DanEP and Daniel S. emerged. In 2022 he co-founded the Kontrast Festival with seven others from the club scene. When Kontrast collapsed in 2024, it paved the way for Daniel S.
